An Act banning the use of pesticides in Connecticut schools grades K-8
H.B. 5324- An Act Banning the use of Pesticides in Connecticut Schools Grades K-8 was signed into law at the end of the 2007 legislative session. Connecticut towns have since begun the transition toward pesticides free school grounds by first applying Integrated Pest Management, and then effective July 2009, using standard specific safe alternatives to all pesticides.
